After so many years of producing and staging abroad sadsongskomplex:fi has finally decided to return to Finland with another interesting co-production. This time we are joining forces with Kajaani City Theatre. Jari Juutinen decided to adapt Lars von Trier’s “Melancholia” to the stage. Even though the film itself is an artistic and cinematic form of depression and anxiety, it is yet a very beautiful story about the destiny waiting for us all. And of course, as in all of Jari’s performances above all of that there is love.

            The premiere is going to hit Finnish audience on 13th of February! Stay tuned and let’s wish good luck to the whole crew!
